Friday 23rd June 2023 will see the start of Coldcroft Shires Three Counties Challenge 2023, which will see Jamie Alcock drive his two shire horses – Willam and Millie – across Gloucestershire, Worcestershire and Herefordshire in the space of three weeks.
The epic 180-mile effort is in memory of Jamie’s brother PC John Alcock, who sadly died in 2017 – 14 years after suffering catastrophic injuries while on duty. It is the third event of its type and Jamie will be looking to add to the £60,000+ he has raised for charity over the past two years, with Police Care UK, The Samaritans and The RAF Association the key beneficiaries of this year’s effort.
